Aaron Rodgers agrees Tom Brady is the GOAT

For people trying to argue that Tom Brady isn't the NFL's greatest quarterback, Aaron Rodgers is the most popular rebuttal - but don't expect the Green Bay Packers quarterback to back you up on it.

Rodgers recently shared his thoughts on Super Bowl LI at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am in conversation with "In Depth with Graham Bersinger," and slipped in the fact he believes Brady is indeed the all-time greatest.

"I felt bad for Matt (Ryan)," Rodgers said. "I have gotten to know him over the years, he is a fantastic guy; he had an incredible MVP season and sitting there 28-3, I think everybody watching - and probably at the game - was thinking 'Atlanta is gonna get their ring sized up here pretty soon.' So that was disappointing.

"From a fan's perspective, what a great game to watch and to see Tom in his greatness on display one more time. I mean, he didn't need to win that to prove that he's the GOAT, but (it's) just another part of his legacy."

Rodgers is far from the first, nor will he be the last, to bow down to Brady's greatness, but since the two share a mutual respect for each other's skills, the New England Patriots quarterback may particularly appreciate his counterpart's comments.
