Cardinals' Swearinger is 2 years younger than everyone thought

D.J. Swearinger just got a whole lot younger ahead of his opportunity to test free agency - as far as public data is concerned, that is.

In correcting a glitch that altered his date of birth, the Elias Sports Bureau recently changed its age listing for the Arizona Cardinals safety from 27 to 25, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

Based on a tweet from earlier this month, it appears Swearinger himself may have brought attention to the error.

It's unlikely it would have affected him in any way as a free agent, as teams almost certainly have access to his official information, but it makes for an odd story nonetheless.

Now how's about you go ahead and bump us all back a few years, Elias?
