Darrelle Revis was next scheduled to appear in court on Thursday to face criminal charges, but that has been moved to March 15, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

A preliminary hearing will be held on that date, one that stems from an incident involving the New York Jets cornerback and two men in Pittsburgh on Sunday. Revis was charged with four felonies and a misdemeanor after two men claim they were punched and knocked unconscious after a confrontation between the two parties.

Revis faces two felony counts of aggravated assault, one felony count of robbery, one felony count of conspiracy, and one misdemeanor of terroristic threats.

For the Jets, the delay in the legal proceedings may hinder any football decision they had hoped to make regarding Revis, as free agency opens on March 9.

Revis was born in Aliquippa, Pa., and attended university at Pittsburgh.
