Packers' T.J. Lang: Remains on crutches

Lang (foot) remains on crutches due to offseason hip surgery, the Wisconsin State Journal reports.

Analysis:

In addition to an ailing hip, Lang is also nursing a broken left foot, but there is no word on whether he required surgery for that this offseason as well. There is no timeline for when he's expected to be back in action either, but with unrestricted free agency looming, Lang will presumably look to return to full form as soon as he can. Green Bay is the only place he's ever called home in his professional career, but considering the team hasn't even made contact with him since the season ended, he doesn't appear to be one of the organization's top priorities.
