The family of Green Bay Packers fan Bill Snyder, who recently passed away at the age of 65, decided to forgo the traditional newspaper obituary in favor of an ad thanking Brett Favre and others for giving him some of his happiest memories.

The ad appeared in Sunday's edition of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

"Thank you Brett Favre, for giving dad the single happiest moment of his life: 1997 Super Bowl, 54-yard pass to Andre Rison, touchdown," the family wrote. "Our dad vaulted from his chair, fell to his knees, screamed to the heavens. In an instant, 30 years of belief were paid back in full."

Don Majkowski, Kittrick Taylor, Sterling Sharpe, Antonio Freeman, Randall Cobb, Richard Rodgers, and Aaron Rodgers also received shout-outs.
