Dolphins' Branden Albert: Remains with Dolphins

Albert remains with the Dolphins after reportedly being released, Charles Trainor Jr. of the Miami Herald reports.

Albert was reportedly released early in the day Thursday but as of Thursday afternoon the team decided to pump the breaks on the action. The reasons for the change are unclear, but it appears some teams expressed interest in Albert and the Dolphins will look to see if they can get anything for him in a trade. For the time being, it remains unlikely that Albert will be with the Dolphins at the start of the 2017 season.
