The Jacksonville Jaguars will re-sign defensive tackle Abry Jones to a four-year deal worth approximately $16 million, NFL Network's Mike Garafolo reports.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed by the team, but Jones is expected to receive $6 million guaranteed, according to Mike Kaye of First Coast News.

Jones was slated to become an unrestricted free agent this spring.

The 25-year-old recorded 32 tackles and a pass deflection in 15 games during the 2016 season. Submitting his breakout campaign, Jones was ranked as the 21st-best interior defender in the NFL by Pro Football Focus.

Jones was signed by the Jaguars as undrafted free agent in 2013 out of Georgia.
