Vikings release Brandon Fusco, Mike Harris

The Minnesota Vikings released a pair of veteran offensive linemen Friday, cutting ties with Brandon Fusco and Mike Harris.

Fusco started all but two games at guard for Minnesota last season, his sixth after joining the club as a late-round pick back in 2011.

Harris, who had started all 16 games in 2015, spent all of this past season on the non-football injury list with an undisclosed ailment.

Minnesota parting ways with Fusco and Harris is likely just the first of many moves in reshaping what's long been an underwhelming unit up front.

With Matt Kalil and Andre Smith slated to hit the free-agent market next month, Alex Boone and Joe Berger are the only starting linemen that remain under contract looking ahead to the 2017 season.
