Giants' Jenkins unimpressed by Dez Bryant: 'He's not fast'

Janoris Jenkins believes he has Dez Bryant's game figured out, and he's not impressed.

The New York Giants cornerback faced the Dallas Cowboys' star wideout twice this season and held him to just 18 yards on two catches.

Jenkins said he found it simple to limit Bryant based on the pass-catcher's tendencies and called him slow during an appearance on 105.3 The Fan last week.

"I played better than he played," Jenkins said, according to the Dallas Morning News. "For real, though, to be honest, when you look at film and break down your opponents and the receivers that you're facing, you notice what they like to do. Take away the slant and the dig, and when they get in 21 personnel and Dez is inside the number, you take away the corner post, he doesn't have nothing else."

He added, "Everything's got to be a double move to get him open because he's not fast."

Jenkins apparently isn't worried about tipping his hand to Bryant.

"I let everybody know. 'Man you're not gonna catch this corner post on me,'" Jenkins added.
