Report: Steelers turned down trade inquiries for Brown

Geoff Burke / USA TODAY Sports

The Pittsburgh Steelers aren't exactly happy with Antonio Brown, but apparently they're nowhere near considering cutting ties with the star receiver.

The Steelers were approached by several teams about Brown's availability but were rebuffed, two of the teams told Bleacher Report's Mike Freeman.

While Brown's character came into question during the latter stages of the 2016 season, there's little doubt he remains one of the NFL's premier players.

The Steelers are reportedly set on extending Brown's contract by training camp, but even if they were looking to move him, the asking price would likely be too steep for most interested parties.

Brown told Freeman his Facebook live stream of the Steelers' locker room was a "dumb mistake" and vowed to rebuild the team's trust in him.
