Katie Levitre given special game ball for watching Falcons game in labor

Atlanta Falcons head coach Dan Quinn says his team awarded a special game ball after Sunday's NFC Championship Game victory.

Katie Levitre, wife of offensive lineman Andy Levitre, watched the Falcons' divisional-round win over the Seattle Seahawks while in labor.

"We gave (her) a game ball and said it was a week late and put 'ultimate toughness' on it," Quinn told reporters Monday.

Katie waited to go to the hospital until Andy had finished showering after the game.

"We felt that was definitely worthy of a game ball," Quinn said.

Lily Levitre was born at 12:07 a.m. last Sunday, about four hours after the Falcons' game ended.
