Fan accused of pulling alarm in Steelers' hotel has brutally honest excuse

The man who allegedly pulled the fire alarm in the Pittsburgh Steelers' hotel at 3 a.m. before the AFC title game against the New England Patriots had an all-time great excuse for his actions - though it probably won't hold up in court.

"I'm drunk. I'm stupid. I'm a Pats fan," is what Dennis Harrison told police early Sunday morning, according to Cristela Guerra of the Boston Globe.

A police report said Harrison was dared by friends at a party to pull the alarm and wake the Steelers up.

Harrison was in court Monday, where he reportedly pleaded not guilty to charges of disorderly conduct, disturbing the peace, and setting off a false alarm.
