The Indianapolis Colts have requested to interview Seattle Seahawks co-directors of player personnel Trent Kirchner and Scott Fitterer for their vacant general manager position, sources told Tom Pelissero of USATODAYSports.

The Colts also have requested permission to interview Minnesota Vikings assistant general manager George Paton, sources told Adam Schefter of ESPN.

Colts vice president of football operations Jimmy Raye III is the other known candidate and is reportedly the clear favorite to replace the recently fired Ryan Grigson.

Owner Jim Irsay will interview four-to-five candidates for the position, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
