New England Patriots president Jonathan Kraft fired a shot at former Indianapolis Colts general manager Ryan Grigson after the latter was fired Saturday.

Kraft, son of Patriots owner Robert Kraft, was asked during an interview on 98.5 The Sports Hub to comment on Grigson's dismissal.

Kraft responded by mentioning the 2015 AFC Championship Game, the contest that spawned the Deflategate saga.

"That game might have been Ryan's pinnacle, I don't know," Kraft said, according to ESPN's Mike Reiss.

The Colts lost the game 45-7.

Prior to the game (or during the game, depending on who you believe), the Colts notified the NFL of their suspicion that the Patriots might use under-inflated footballs.

The NFL eventually ruled that the Patriots did cheat and suspended Tom Brady for four games, fined the team $1 million, and stripped the Patriots of a first-round pick.
