Report: Saints interview Jim Tomsula for DL coach position

Former San Francisco 49ers head coach Jim Tomsula interviewed with the New Orleans Saints for their defensive line coach opening, Matt Maiocco of CSN Bay Area reports.

Tomsula has been out of the league since guiding the Niners to a 5-11 season in his only year as head coach. He spent the nine years prior as the team's defensive line coach. Before reaching the NFL, he had stops in college and NFL Europe as a defensive line coach.

Former Saints defensive line coach Bill Johnson has joined the Los Angeles Rams.
