Julio Jones insists he'll be 'ready to go' despite missing 2nd straight practice

Though Julio Jones will miss his second straight practice Thursday while dealing with a toe injury, the Atlanta Falcons receiver said he'll be "ready to go" against the Green Bay Packers in Sunday's NFC Championship Game, according to Michael Cunningham of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

The Falcons expected Jones to be limited in practice at the beginning of the week, but it's not clear whether they knew he wouldn't practice for at least half the week. He did participate in the team's walk-through Wednesday.

Jones aggravated his toe injury in the Falcons' divisional-round win over the Seattle Seahawks, sitting out the final few drives of the game. He's dealt with injuries to his toe and foot for approximately the final month of the season.

Jones is planning to take part in his team's light practice Friday, according to Cunningham.
