Report: Carl Cheffers to referee Super Bowl LI

Travis Kelce did not get his wish.
The referee the Kansas City Chiefs tight end said should never work another game - or even at Foot Locker - will instead be the lead referee for Super Bowl LI, according to Kevin Seifert of ESPN.
It will be Carl Cheffers' first ever Super Bowl as lead referee.
Cheffers has been an official since 2000 and was promoted to referee in 2008.
