Roethlisberger, Edelman trade shots over Brown's locker room video

While Antonio Brown's locker room video didn't reveal much we didn't already know, other than the receiver's affinity to filming himself, the act has struck a chord between this year's AFC Championship combatants.

The New England Patriots weren't particularly offended by Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin calling them "assholes" in the video, but receiver Julian Edelman took the chance to throw some shade at the black and yellow.

"Hey, people have different rules," Edelman told WEEI radio on Monday. "That's how that team is run. I personally don't think that would be something that would happen in our locker room, but hey whatever...

"I wouldn't do that so I personally - I wouldn't do that. Let's just say that and I'd be more worried about just trying to celebrate with my teammates and keeping it internal."

Brown since apologized for the video after taking a harsh tongue lashing from his coach. Ben Roethlisberger also voiced his disappointment in Brown, but that didn't stop him from taking offense to Edelman's comments when asked to comment on Wednesday.

The veteran quarterback reminded Edelman which organization has the lead in Super Bowl wins.

"I don't think I need to speak much," Roethlisberger said at his press conference Wednesday. "We've got our trophies out there. I've got owners that I think are the best in the business.

"They're family to us, and I'm sure if he talked to his owner, he would say the same thing about the Rooneys. Anybody in here or in the football world or the regular world that know the Rooneys knows what they stand for. It's a blessing to call them a family. ... It's a blessing to know that they care about us and that's one of the reasons we want to win."

To Roethlisberger's point, the Steelers' six Lombardi Trophies are the most in the league - two more than the Patriots' four - and since coming into the NFL in 2004, his team has outscored the Patriots 2-1 in Super Bowl victories.
