Brown expects to be 'a Steeler for life'

Pittsburgh Steelers wideout Antonio Brown isn't worried about rumors that he's starting to wear out his welcome in the Steel City.

"I'll be a Steeler for life ... that's my plan," Brown told the host of the Dan Patrick Show on Thursday.

Brown is set to earn $8.71 million next season in the final year of his deal, but is widely expected to renegotiate a long-term extension with the Steelers this spring.

Assuming the team wants to commit to him, that is. After Brown streamed video live from the Steelers' locker room following the divisional round, head coach Mike Tomlin scolded his "selfish" star pass-catcher and suggested Brown's behavior is why some star players move from team to team.

Steelers president Art Rooney II confirmed the team isn't entirely happy with Brown, but said be believes Brown is a "good person" who is liked by teammates.

Brown's recent issues were termed "little annoyances, with the emphasis on little," by Rooney.
