Pittsburgh Steelers tight end Ladarius Green is officially inactive for Sunday's divisional-round game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Green, who missed each of the last three games with a concussion, had been listed as doubtful after sitting out the entire week of practice.

His absence will push Jesse James back into Pittsburgh's lead tight-end role for a fourth consecutive game.

Green at one point appeared to be making some progress in the league's protocol, twice practicing in a full capacity ahead of last week's wild-card win over the Miami Dolphins, but he's yet to participate since.

It's unclear whether he's thought to have a chance at making a return in the event Pittsburgh advances to the AFC title game.
