The NFL will reportedly use Sunday's divisional-round clash between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Kansas City Chiefs to test out a new time slot for the playoffs.

The game was pushed back from 1:05 p.m. ET to 8:20 p.m. ET due to an ice storm in the Kansas City area. If it draws big numbers, the league will consider moving future Sunday playoff games into the prime-time slot, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

The move from the early afternoon to night could potentially add an extra 10 million viewers, an industry source told Schefter, though it could also cause friction with teams forced to play in that spot, as they'll get considerably less time to prepare for next weekend's championship round.
