Lewis makes history with rushing, receiving, kick-return TD vs. Texans
James Lang / USA TODAY Sports
New England Patriots running back Dion Lewis became the first player in postseason history with a rushing, receiving, and kickoff-return touchdown in a single game after recording his third score against the Houston Texans.
Lewis set the record when he scored on a 1-yard run, giving the Patriots a 31-16 lead.
In the first quarter, Lewis caught a 13-yard touchdown pass, then followed up with a 98-yard kickoff-return score.
Lewis' all-around brilliance carried the Patriots throughout the game on a night where Tom Brady uncharacteristically threw two interceptions.
