Report: Rams to retain Les Snead as GM

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports / Reuters

Major changes within the Los Angeles Rams organization may be limited to the coaching staff.

General manager Les Snead will be retained by the club for a sixth season in 2017, ESPN's Dan Granziano reports.

Snead was thought to be facing an uncertain future following the late-season dismissal of Jeff Fisher, as there was seemingly a chance that he'd be let go depending on who was brought in as the next head coach.

News of his return comes on the heels of an official announcement making Sean McVay the youngest coach in NFL history.

The Rams have posted a 31-48-1 record across the five years since Snead took over as general manager back in 2012.
