Ohio State's Lattimore heading to NFL

Matthew Emmons / USA TODAY Sports

Ohio State is losing another member of its secondary to the NFL.

Buckeyes cornerback Marshon Lattimore announced Wednesday he's declaring for the 2017 NFL Draft. Safety Malik Hooker and corner Gareon Conley previously announced they'd also be taking their talents to the pros, leaving Ohio State with some holes to fill on defense.

Lattimore only had one season as a starter in Columbus, but it was a memorable one. He posted 41 tackles and four interceptions to go along with 11 passes defensed in 2016.

The first-team All-Big Ten selection is projected by some to be taken late in the first round at this spring's draft.
