Cowboys' Elliott uninjured after minor car accident

Kevin Jairaj / USA TODAY Sports

Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott suffered no injuries in a minor car accident Wednesday morning, Mike Leslie of WFAA-TV reports.

Leslie described the collision as a "minor rear-ending." No parties involved were injured.

Elliott seemed to confirm the news in a tweet:

According to TMZ Sports, Elliott's large GMC truck rear-ended a BMW. Police and Cowboys security responded to the scene, where Elliott appeared "frustrated" but "extremely nice and polite."

The fourth overall pick in the draft, Elliott rushed for 1,631 yards to lead the entire NFL in his rookie season. He also added 363 yards on 32 catches and scored 16 total touchdowns.
