The Jacksonville Jaguars will hire Tom Coughlin as their executive vice president of football operations, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports.

Jacksonville also reportedly retained Doug Marrone as its head coach, shedding the interim label.

The Jaguars also extended the contract of general manager Dave Caldwell for two years, while Coughlin and Marrone received three-year deals, Schefter reports.

This marks Coughlin's second stint with the Jaguars, coaching the team from 1995-2002, posting a cumulative 68-60 record with the team, before being fired.

However, Coughlin is best known for his stint as the head coach of the New York Giants, winning two Super Bowls with the club. Coughlin also won a Super Bowl with the Giants in 1990 as their wide receivers coach. After recording a 102-90 record with the team, Coughlin was forced to resign at the end of the 2015 season.
