Report: NFL investigating if Beckham punched hole in wall after loss to Packers

New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. made an impact Sunday - just not in the way he hoped.

Beckham, who was held to four receptions for 28 yards during the 38-13 loss to the Green Bay Packers, reportedly punched a hole in a wall while heading to the locker room after the contest.

ESPN's Sal Paolantonio reported that the NFL is investigating whether Beckham punched a hole in the wall, and intends to speak to the Packers' facility staff.

The wide receiver was criticized for partaking in a boat trip with teammates on Monday, and bristled at the suggestion that it impacted his play Sunday.

"There was nothing that could connect seven days ago to today and how we came out and played and executed," Beckham said, according to NFL.com's Marc Sessler. "There's just nothing in the world, that's not realistic. I think it did a great job at creating distractions for us. It's unfortunate. That's just the way this world is. There's just no way you could connect something that happened seven days ago to this game today."
