Pittsburgh Pirates outfielder Andrew McCutchen was reportedly almost moved out of the Steel City during the offseason, with the Washington Nationals nearly trading for the 2013 National League MVP before making a deal for Adam Eaton.

The trade speculation, however, hasn't made McCutchen any less of a fan of the Pittsburgh area, as the 30-year-old tweeted out his support of the Pittsburgh Steelers ahead of their AFC wild-card matchup Sunday against the Miami Dolphins.

Miami Marlins second baseman Dee Gordon had a clever response to McCutchen's prideful tweet.

McCutchen, a Florida native, has spent his entire eight-year career with the Pirates, wearing the traditional gold and black that's a mainstay among all of Pittsburgh's sports franchises.
