Steelers' Green inactive vs. Dolphins

Charles LeClaire / USA TODAY Sports

Pittsburgh Steelers tight end Ladarius Green is officially inactive for Sunday's wild-card game against the Miami Dolphins due to a concussion.

Green was a full participant in Wednesday's and Thursday's practices, but didn't take part in Friday's session. He was ruled questionable for the playoff opener.

The 26-year-old missed the last two regular-season games because of the concussion.

Following an injury that forced him to miss the first half of the season, Green showed why the Steelers added him during free agency.

He had 15 catches for 274 yards and a touchdown over a four-game span, providing Pittsburgh with a dynamic threat at tight end that had been missing from its stacked offense.
