Elliott's body 'feels like it's Week 1' despite 322-carry season

If the opponents of the Dallas Cowboys were hoping the wear and tear of the regular season would mean Ezekiel Elliott won't be at 100 percent for the playoffs, they're apparently in for a shock.

Despite carrying the ball 322 times during his rookie campaign - as well as catching 32 passes - the running back insists he feels as fresh as he did at the start of the season.

"My body feels like it's Week 1," Elliott said, according to Jon Machota of The Dallas Morning News. "I got fresh legs, fresh body. I'm excited."

Asked how dangerous that makes him for his playoff opponents, Elliott replied, "You tell me," before laughing, per Machota.

While Elliott carried a huge workload all season, Dallas' success means he's able to use the bye week to rest.

The running back was also able to sit out a meaningless Week 17 matchup, so it's no surprise he's feeling ready to go.

While the Cowboys don't yet know who they'll be facing in the divisional round, it appears the team feels it can take down any challenger.

"All-time high," said Elliott of Dallas' confidence, reports Machota. "We've never had a problem with confidence level in this locker room. We're all ready."
