RG3 hopes to return to Browns next season

Robert Griffin III made it clear after Sunday's game, he wants to return to Cleveland.

The Browns finished the year with a 1-15 record after a 27-24 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers in overtime. Despite setting a franchise record for losses in a season, Griffin wants to be a part of the turnaround. He said as much in a series of posts on Twitter.

Griffin only managed to lead the team to one win in his five starts this season. He suffered a shoulder injury in the first week of the season and didn't return to the field until Week 14. He finished the year with 886 yards, two touchdowns, and three interceptions.

The Browns selected quarterback Cody Kessler in the third round of this year's draft and are expected to use the No. 1 pick in the 2017 draft on a quarterback as well.

Griffin signed a two-year, $15-million deal in the offseason in an effort to reinvigorate his career.
