There's been a lot of rumors about DeSean Jackson's potential plans for free agency and a possible return to the Philadelphia Eagles, but the Washington Redskins receiver confirmed one thing Wednesday - he's hitting the market.

The nine-year veteran is interested in what could happen if he hit the free agency market, which has never happened before in his career.

"Once free agency comes, we'll see how it plays out," Jackson told ESPN's John Keim. "This is the first time in my career I'll hit the free-agent market, so I'm definitely intrigued about seeing what's going to happen and test the market and see what's going on. Who knows what will happen?"

Jackson still remains a threat to stretch the field at age 30, racking up 971 yards on 54 catches through 14 games this season including 18 receptions of over 20 yards.
