Does this look like a meltdown or a tantrum to you?

After the New York Giants' loss to the Philadelphia Eagles on Thursday, reports surfaced saying Giants wideout Odell Beckham Jr. had to be escorted to the locker room by members of the team's staff after he was spotted banging his head on a garage door and "growling to himself."

While video of the incident confirms Beckham needed a moment alone, it hardly seems excessive for a player to be frustrated after his team lost a crucial game in the playoff hunt.

Moments after the incident, Beckham addressed reporters with professionalism and even optimism about the future.

Beckham has suggested in the past that he is unfairly criticized by the media. He seems to have a point.

While Beckham certainly wears his heart on his sleeve, and perhaps crosses a line at times with his emotions, shouldn't fans hope that players would care as much about winning as Beckham does?
