Wilson burns Sherman at presser: 'Don't make me take your credentials'

Kirby Lee / USA TODAY Sports

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson isn't known for his banter, but he made a pretty good joke at teammate Richard Sherman's expense Wednesday.

Sherman berated 710 ESPN Seattle's Jim Moore on Tuesday, after the reporter questioned the cornerback's comments on his team's decision to throw on the 1-yard line during Thursday's win against the Los Angeles Rams. The four-time Pro Bowler said he'd ruin Moore's career and ensure his credentials are revoked.

He later apologized, and Wilson started Wednesday's news conference by making fun of his teammate's outburst.

"Don't make me take your credentials today," Wilson told reporters before being asked a question, according to Tim Booth of The Associated Press.

You know something went awry if Wilson is dropping killer quips.
