3 red-hot players to watch on Sunday

This year's postseason has yet to give us a nail-biting finish, but with the talent on display during Sunday's divisional-round games, especially on offense, we're sure to be in for some fireworks.

Here are three players who could build upon their outstanding run of form:

Travis Kelce

There's no tight end in the league quite like Rob Gronkowski, but Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs has done a pretty amazing impression over the second half of the season, dominating like no other player at his position.

Kelce's hot streak dates back to Week 11, as he exceeded 100 yards receiving in four straight games, tying an NFL record for a tight end.

The 27-year-old had just three catches for 41 yards in Week 15 and one catch for eight yards in Week 17, but those can be excused given the fact he caught an 80-yard touchdown in Week 16 and finished the game with 160 yards on 11 grabs.

Kelce's consistently explosive play and work over the middle of the field has elevated the Chiefs' offense, and his continued elite play will be key to Kansas City taking down the Pittsburgh Steelers in Sunday's divisional-round clash.

Ryan Shazier

A former first-round pick, Shazier is finally coming into his own, and has helped to propel an impressive late-season turnaround in form for the Steelers' defense.

Injuries limited him early his career, but the inside linebacker looks 100 percent now. His outstanding athleticism has always been his greatest asset, and it has been on display over the past three games.

Shazier has come up with interceptions in each of Pittsburgh's last three games, including a spectacular play to pick off Matt Moore in last week's wild-card win over the Miami Dolphins.

In short, Alex Smith will likely be keeping one eye on Shazier on Sunday.

Aaron Rodgers

Rodgers' play over the second half of the season has been so good that we're running out of superlatives, but this list wouldn't be complete without maybe the most in-form player in the NFL.

The Green Bay Packers' star quarterback has thrown for 300-plus yards and four touchdowns in each of his last three games, two of those coming against the vaunted defenses of the Minnesota Vikings and New York Giants.

His mind-boggling stats don't end there, however. It's been eight games since the veteran pivot has been intercepted, and over that span, he's thrown 22 touchdowns.

As last week's Hail Mary play to end the first half against the Detroit Lions illustrates, Rodgers makes the impossible look easy.
