Watch: Newton flagged for taunting after taking unpenalized headshot

Cam Newton still isn't getting the calls he's been pleading for all season and he's had just about enough of it.

After officials elected not to call Washington Redskins linebacker Trent Murphy for striking Newton in the head while sliding, they wasted no time at all flagging the Carolina Panthers quarterback for tossing the ball in his abuser's direction.

While Newton may have deserved a foul for taunting Murphy, retired official Gerry Austin confirmed on the broadcast that there should have been offsetting calls on the play.

"That was a sliding QB and you have helmet to helmet contact," Austin told ESPN. "You should have had a call there."
