Cam Newton and the Carolina Panthers may have been looking to burn their old teammate, Josh Norman, on Monday night, but this one was easier than expected.
As safety Donte Whitner, who was passed on by the Panthers after an offseason workout, got turned around in coverage, Ted Ginn Jr. ran an easy deep route for a 30-yard touchdown.
