Browns' Robert Griffin: Could be replaced in Week 16

Head coach Hue Jackson will consider removing Griffin as the starting quarterback for the Browns' Week 16 matchup with the Chargers, Ohio.com reports.

Analysis:

Griffin played better Sunday against the Bills than he did in last week's loss to the Bengals, his first action since Week 1. However, Jackson believes there are still things Griffin could improve upon, and he left the door open for a quarterback change in an effort to put all options on the table with the Browns looking to avoid a winless campaign. With that likely being the team's primary objective the rest of the way, veteran Josh McCown may be the slight favorite over Cody Kessler to take over if Griffin is ultimately relieved of the starting duties.
