Vikings' Adrian Peterson: Limited to six carries in first action since Week 2

Peterson (knee) rushed six times for 22 yards and caught his lone target for one yard in his first action since Week 2 Sunday against the Colts. He also lost a fumble in the 34-6 loss.

Analysis:

Peterson's workload was limited, as the Vikings were forced to play from behind throughout. He didn't do much with his limited chances, either, averaging just 3.7 yards per rush. While it's nice to see Peterson back on the field, his workload over the final couple weeks could be limited if the reeling Vikings continue to fall behind early.
