Bengals' Tyler Eifert: Hauls in just one pass Sunday

Eifert hauled in one of three passes for nine yards during Sunday's loss to the Steelers.

Analysis:

During the first three outings of A.J. Green's absence, Andy Dalton leaned heavily on Eifert, who scored an inordinate amount on his 19 targets. In particular, Eifert recorded 12 receptions for 141 yards and four touchdowns, boosting the prospects of owners in advance of and within the fantasy playoffs. Having said that, he put up a dud in a rough and tumble game with the Steelers, as Brandon LaFell (91 yards) was the only Bengal to surpass 20 yards receiving. Eifert will focus on hitting pay dirt again next Saturday against a Texans defense that has been stingy in that department this season, allowing three scores to tight ends in 14 contests.
