Vikings' Adrian Peterson: Will start at running back against Indianapolis
Peterson (knee) is active for Sunday's game against Indianapolis and will start at running back, Andrew Krammer of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.
Analysis:
Earlier reports had Peterson set to start at running back, but this reports makes it official. He has been out since Week 2 after knee surgery. He could be eased back into action and share carries with Matt Asiata and Jerick McKinnon. However, Peterson has a track record of strong performances in his return from injuries.
