Dolphins' Jay Ajayi: Fails to bounce back in New York

Ajayi rushed 19 times for 53 yards, and wasn't targeted in the passing game in Saturday's 34-13 win over the Jets.

Analysis:

The Jets didn't respect slower quarterback Matt Moore on zone-read options, limiting Ajayi on plays that had yielded tremendous success with the speedier Ryan Tannehill under center. Even before Tannehill got hurt, Ajayi had been declining with 61 or fewer yards in three consecutive games. He was stuffed on a pair of goal-line carries early in the second quarter before Miami finally got on the board via the pass, and was never able to find pay dirt despite this game's lopsided nature.
