Carolina Panthers star quarterback Cam Newton is listed as questionable for Monday's game against the Washington Redskins, but head coach Ron Rivera says he expects Newton to be able to suit up, according to Steve Reed of The Associated Press.

Newton was limited during Wednesday's and Thursday's practices due to an injury to his non-throwing shoulder. An MRI reportedly came back negative on his shoulder and the veteran pivot was able to practice fully Friday.

Wide receiver Kelvin Benjamin (back) and linebacker Luke Kuechly (concussion) were also listed as questionable.

Rivera said Benjamin is "right on track" for Monday night, according to Reed, while Kuechly will again need final clearance from an independent neurologist to make his return.

Defensive end Charles Johnson was ruled out due to a hamstring injury.
