Cowboys' Dez Bryant: Tending to back injury

Bryant practiced in a limited capacity Thursday due to a back injury, Clarence Hill of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.

Analysis:

Bryant's appearance on the injury report was sudden after Wednesday's full session. Outside of injuries afflicting the offensive line, Bryant is the sole Cowboy on that side of the ball with a known injury in tow. During media availability Thursday, he was receiving treatment for the ailment, but his activity level prior to that point should encourage those owners relying on the wide receiver in the final weeks of the season. No matter, his status should be viewed intently as Sunday's game against the Buccaneers draws closer.
