Josh Norman already eyeing matchup with Panthers

Not long after the Washington Redskins put a bow on Sunday's 27-22 win over the Philadelphia Eagles did cornerback Josh Norman begin looking ahead to the Redskins' next game.

It just so happens to be against his former team, the Carolina Panthers.

The Redskins and Panthers will meet on Monday Night Football in Week 15, giving Norman a chance to get reacquainted with his former mates.

"Already there," Norman said of his focus, according to Mike Garafolo of NFL Network.

"This will be a fun week. They know what time it is."

Norman was the No. 1 corner for a Panthers team that rolled to a 15-1 record and a Super Bowl appearance last season. Norman looked to get paid in the offseason, but the Panthers offered little more than the franchise tag. They then pulled that offer, unexpectedly making Norman a free agent.

The corner admitted to being surprised by the team's decision, before signing a five-year, $75-million deal with the Redskins.

Without Norman, the Panthers are 5-8, while the Redskins remain in the playoff hunt at 7-5-1.
