Denver Broncos linebacker Brandon Marshall revealed to the public on Friday that he had received a letter chalked full of racist remarks in response to his decision to kneel for the national anthem early in the season.

While the matter is under investigation by Broncos security, many fans took the opportunity to flood Marshall's social media accounts with positive messages. Marshall retweeted the notes in a show of appreciation.
