Cardinals' Tyrann Mathieu: Ruled out for Sunday

Mathieu (shoulder) has been ruled out of Sunday's game against the Dolphins.

Analysis:

Mathieu has played just once since Week 8, so the Cardinals have unfortunately grown accustomed to playing without him once again this season. Although coach Bruce Arians doesn't think it'll be necessary, Mathieu is considering surgery on his injured shoulder, Darren Urban of Azcardinals.com reports. His continued absence figures to allow both Tyvon Branch and D.J. Swearinger to enjoy significant defensive involvement.
