Buccaneers' Adam Humphries: Limited practice Thursday

Analysis:

A helmet-to-helmet hit knocked Humphries out of Sunday's win at San Diego and into the concussion protocol, where he remains. After an absence from Wednesday's session, his presence Thursday implies progress has been made through said protocol. However, the final hurdle to overcome is clearance from an independent neurologist. If he doesn't reach that threshold, the Buccaneers could be down to Mike Evans and a trio of unproven bodies (Russell Shepard, Freddie Martino, and Josh Huff) at wide receiver following Cecil Shorts' season-ending knee injury.
