Rams' Fisher unaware GM Snead also received contract extension

Los Angeles Rams head coach Jeff Fisher appears to be perpetually unaware of the events surrounding him.

Fisher signed a two-year contract extension earlier in the season to remain with the club through 2018. Unbeknownst to him, general manager Les Snead also signed a contract extension, with the terms undisclosed.

"I'm so busy here, I was honestly unaware that he was extended. I'm being honest with you. We're just working here," Fisher said of Snead's extension via ESPN's Alden Gonzalez.

It wasn't the first time Fisher has been unaware in recent days. During Sunday's game against the New England Patriots, Fisher was unable to locate his challenge flag in the Patriots' 26-10 victory.

Despite the circumstances, Fisher wasn't remotely perturbed.

"It was hilarious," Fisher said. "It was just one of those funny moments on the sideline."

Prior to Sunday's game, Fisher also incorrectly made reference to Brandon Bolden as one of the Patriots' lead running backs. Bolden primarily plays on special teams and starter LeGarrette Blount reveled in Fisher's mistake after the game.

Fisher's lack of awareness may not be so hilarious to Rams fans, as the team appears certain to miss the playoffs for the 12th consecutive season.
