Buccaneers' Lavonte David: Tallies pick-six in Week 13 win

David totaled three tackles (two solo), returned an interception for a touchdown, and defended a pass in Sunday's 28-21 win over the Chargers.

Analysis:

David made his first interception of the season a memorable one, taking a Philip Rivers pass fifteen yards to the house in the third quarter to give the Bucs a 17-14 lead. The former Pro Bowler's numbers have been down across the board in 2016 in new defensive coordinator Mike Smith's scheme, as he's on pace for just 80 tackles, his lowest figure in that category by far over his five-year career. That's depressed his overall IDP value after a four-season run in which the 26-year-old posted 139 to 147 stops, as well as multiple sacks in three of those campaigns. However, one area in which David has excelled this season has been creating turnovers, as he's equaled a career high with four forced fumbles, in addition to Sunday's interception.
